berlin           1977 wurde die Familie in Berlin gegruendet. Beide Kinder wurden hier geboren (Anja 1978 and Kolja 1980). Bis 1982 lebten wir im Westen der Stadt.

 

           The family was founded in Berlin in 1977. Both kids were born here (Anja in 1978 and Kolja in 1980). The family lived in (West) Berlin until early 1982.

         Anfang 1982 gingen wir zusammen für zwei Jahre nach Toronto. Dieses prägende Erlebnis führte in den folgenen Jahren zu vielen weiteren Urlaubs- und Arbeitsaufenthalten in verschiedenen Regionen dieses Landes.    

                Early 1981, we moved for two years to Toronto (Ontario, Canada). These were important years for us that triggered frequent returns (for holidays or professional training) to different parts of this country in the following 20+ years.
